It is still early days in terms of OnePlus 16 leaks, since the phone is set to ship in Q4 2026. Therefore, consider these preliminary specifications with a grain of salt. Still, the OnePlus 16 is shaping up to be a fantastic flagship.
The phone’s display is believed to be a flat BOE X5 OLED panel with 1220p resolution and a staggering 240Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, we could see a Pro version of Qualcomm’s future Snapdragon Elite Gen 6 chipset, which is believed to have insane 6GHz clock rates. It comes equipped with LPDDR6 RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. Unfortunately, the storage will not be extensible.
Other purported specifications include a large 9,000 mAh battery with 120W wired and 50W wireless charging. Regarding the camera, we might expect two 200MP Samsung ISOCELL HP5 sensors, one for the primary camera and one for the periscope telephoto. According to the insider, we can also anticipate a new ultrawide camera. However, we don’t have any details yet.
Other tiny components include an Ultrasonic 2.0 fingerprint scanner beneath the display, dual coaxial speakers, and an 0916R vibration motor.
