HONOR X6e Full Review & Our Opinion
The HONOR X6e is an entry-level 4G smartphone designed for users who want long battery life, a smooth display, useful everyday performance, and better durability without moving into a higher price category. HONOR has equipped the phone with a large 7,500mAh battery, 45W HONOR SuperCharge, a 120Hz display, a 50MP AI-powered main camera, and IP64 protection. The phone also carries SGS certification for drop and crush resistance, making durability one of its major selling points.
Design & Display
The HONOR X6e follows a clean and practical design that fits comfortably into the brand’s X-series lineup. It is available in Sunrise Gold and Midnight Black, giving users a choice between a more eye-catching finish and a classic dark appearance. The phone is designed primarily for everyday usability rather than a premium flagship-style build.
On the front, the HONOR X6e features a 6.61-inch display with support for a 120Hz refresh rate. The higher refresh rate makes scrolling through menus, websites, social media feeds, and compatible applications feel smoother than a traditional 60Hz screen. HONOR has also included eye-comfort features such as Dynamic Dimming, Dark Mode, and E-book Mode. The display can reach a claimed 1010-nit peak brightness in supported conditions.
The display is therefore one of the phone’s more attractive features for everyday consumption. However, buyers should remember that this is still an entry-level LCD-based device rather than a premium AMOLED smartphone.
Performance
The HONOR X6e is powered by the MediaTek Helio G81 Ultra, an octa-core chipset with two Cortex-A75 cores clocked up to 2.0GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores running at up to 1.7GHz. Graphics are handled by the ARM Mali-G52 MC2 GPU.
This hardware is aimed at normal daily activities rather than demanding flagship-level workloads. Browsing the web, watching YouTube, using social media, messaging, video calls, and running common applications should be the phone’s natural use cases. Casual gaming should also be possible, although demanding games will require more modest graphics settings.
For memory, HONOR’s Bangladesh product page highlights an 8GB equivalent configuration based on 4GB physical RAM plus 4GB HONOR RAM Turbo, alongside 128GB of storage. RAM Turbo uses part of the internal storage to provide an expanded-memory experience, so the additional virtual RAM should not be considered the same as having 8GB of physical RAM.
Overall, the performance package is suitable for users who mainly need a dependable phone for everyday tasks rather than intensive gaming or heavy professional applications.
Camera
Photography is handled by a 50MP main rear camera with AI-powered processing. HONOR specifies that the 50MP capability is available in the High-Resolution mode, while the actual image resolution can vary depending on the shooting mode and environment.
The camera is designed to provide detailed images in suitable lighting conditions and includes AI-powered photography features. HONOR also highlights AI Eraser functionality, which can be used to remove unwanted distractions from compatible photographs.
For an entry-level phone, the 50MP main camera gives the X6e a useful advantage for everyday photography. It should be capable of handling regular outdoor photos, documents, family moments, and social-media content, although users looking for advanced ultrawide or telephoto photography will need a more expensive device.
The front camera is more basic, so the Honor X6e is better viewed as a phone with a capable primary camera rather than a camera-focused smartphone.
Battery & Charging
Battery life is arguably the strongest part of the HONOR X6e. The Bangladesh version is promoted with a 7,500mAh typical-capacity battery, while its rated capacity is 7,320mAh. HONOR says the battery is designed to maintain more than 80% capacity after six years under its specified laboratory simulation conditions.
The company also claims up to 29.6 hours of long video playback in its laboratory testing, while its marketing materials describe the phone as capable of going up to two days between charges depending on usage. Actual endurance will naturally vary according to network conditions, screen brightness, applications, gaming, and other usage patterns.
Charging is handled by 45W HONOR SuperCharge, which is considerably more convenient than the slower charging systems found on many entry-level smartphones. HONOR notes that achieving the maximum supported charging power requires the original charger and cable, and actual charging power varies according to conditions.
For users who prioritize battery endurance, the X6e is particularly appealing because the combination of a very large battery and 45W charging reduces the need to constantly search for a charger.
Software Experience
The HONOR X6e runs MagicOS 10.0 based on Android 16, according to HONOR’s regional specifications. The software provides the familiar MagicOS experience along with everyday tools and HONOR features.
The phone also includes features such as Device Clone, Backup and Restore, Gallery, Calculator, and Magic Capsule. The combination of Android 16 and MagicOS 10.0 gives the X6e a modern software platform for an entry-level smartphone.
The 120Hz display complements the software experience nicely because navigation and scrolling can feel more fluid. Nevertheless, the Helio G81 Ultra means users should keep expectations realistic when running many demanding applications simultaneously.
Durability & Extra Features
Durability is another area where HONOR has put considerable effort into the X6e. The phone has received 5-star SGS Premium Performance Certification for Drop & Crush Resistance, and HONOR’s laboratory testing indicates resistance to drops from up to 1.8 meters onto a smooth marble surface under the specified test conditions.
The X6e also has an IP64 rating, providing protection against dust and water splashes under specified laboratory conditions. This does not mean the phone is waterproof or suitable for underwater use. HONOR specifically states that its resistance can decrease with normal wear and tear.
Another notable feature is HONOR’s 300% high-volume mode, which is designed to provide louder audio for situations such as outdoor use. HONOR says this mode can amplify music, videos, navigation sounds, and call audio.
These additions make the X6e more practical for users who want a phone that can handle everyday bumps, splashes, outdoor environments, and long periods away from a charger.
Our Opinion
The HONOR X6e is a smartphone that focuses on practical features rather than trying to compete with more expensive devices on raw performance. Its biggest strengths are clearly the 7,500mAh battery, 45W charging, 120Hz display, 50MP main camera, IP64 protection, and SGS-certified durability.
The Helio G81 Ultra provides enough capability for regular smartphone activities, while the 120Hz display helps make the overall interface feel smoother. The 50MP camera should also be sufficient for everyday photography, particularly when shooting in good lighting.
The main limitations are related to its entry-level positioning. Users looking for high-end gaming performance, an AMOLED display, or a more advanced multi-camera system will likely need to consider a higher-tier HONOR model.
For someone who values battery life and durability above everything else, however, the X6e makes a strong case for itself.
Final Verdict
The HONOR X6e is a practical entry-level smartphone built around endurance, durability, and everyday usability. Its large 7,500mAh battery and 45W HONOR SuperCharge are its standout features, while the 120Hz display provides smoother scrolling and the 50MP main camera offers respectable photography capability for its class.
Its IP64 protection and 5-star SGS drop and crush certification further strengthen its appeal for users who want a phone capable of handling the demands of daily life.
The performance is best suited to everyday tasks rather than intensive gaming, but that is a reasonable compromise for a device focused so strongly on battery endurance and durability.
Overall, the HONOR X6e is a well-balanced choice for users who want a long-lasting, durable, smooth-to-use 4G smartphone with fast charging and a capable main camera.
