The HONOR Magic9 is a flagship smartphone that combines a compact premium design with powerful hardware, a high-end OLED display, a versatile triple-camera system, a large 8,000mAh battery, and HONOR’s latest MagicOS 11 software. The phone was officially listed by HONOR with a September 2026 launch and is powered by Qualcomm’s fifth-generation Snapdragon 8 Elite Mobile Platform.

Design & Display

The HONOR Magic9 takes a relatively compact approach to flagship smartphone design. It measures 151.00mm in height, 72.28mm in width, and 8.49mm in thickness, while weighing approximately 209 grams including the battery. Its 2.5D flat display design gives the phone a modern appearance while keeping the overall dimensions manageable for everyday use.

On the front, the Magic9 features a 6.37-inch OLED display with a 1236 × 2664-pixel FHD+ resolution. The panel supports up to a 120Hz refresh rate, allowing scrolling, animations, and supported games to appear smoother. HONOR also lists support for 1.07 billion colors and a wide DCI-P3 color gamut.

The HONOR Magic9 is designed to offer strong protection against dust and water. HONOR officially lists IP68, IP69, and IP69K protection under specified laboratory testing conditions. However, this does not make the phone a professional waterproof device, and HONOR notes that water and dust resistance can decrease with normal wear over time.

Connectivity is also well covered. The Magic9 supports Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, infrared remote control, USB Type-C, and multiple positioning systems including dual-frequency GPS. It also features stereo speakers and supports a wide range of Bluetooth audio codecs.

The camera system is particularly interesting because HONOR combines a 200MP main camera with a 200MP telephoto camera and a 50MP ultrawide camera. The 3.5x optical zoom and OIS-equipped telephoto camera should make the phone especially appealing to photography enthusiasts.

Its 8,000mAh battery is another standout feature. Combined with 80W wired charging and 50W wireless charging, the Magic9 offers a strong combination of capacity and charging convenience.
