The Vivo S2 FE is a newly introduced smartphone aimed at users who want a large AMOLED display, long battery life, capable 5G performance, and a durable design without moving into Vivo’s highest flagship segment. Its biggest highlight is the enormous 10,000mAh battery, while the phone also features a 1.5K AMOLED display, a 50MP Sony main camera, a 32MP selfie camera, and the Dimensity 7300e chipset.

Vivo has positioned the S2 FE as a feature-rich smartphone with a strong focus on endurance, display quality, durability and everyday performance. It runs Android 16 with OriginOS 6 and comes with IP68 and IP69 protection.

Design & Display

The Vivo S2 FE combines a relatively large body with a modern premium-looking design. It measures approximately 163.9 × 76.5mm, while the thickness is around 8.6mm depending on the colour variant. Despite its large battery, the phone weighs around 224–225 grams, which is understandable considering the battery capacity. Vivo offers the device in Stellar Green, Zen White and Titan Black finishes.

The front features a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with a sharp 2800 × 1260-pixel resolution, giving it a 1.5K-class viewing experience. The 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED display is another major advantage. Its 120Hz refresh rate, high brightness and HDR10+ support should make the phone excellent for multimedia consumption.

Performance is also respectable for the segment thanks to the Dimensity 7300e, UFS 3.1 storage and up to 8GB RAM. The 50MP Sony main camera and 32MP selfie camera complete a well-balanced hardware package.

The main compromises are the phone’s relatively heavy weight and the lack of expandable storage. The 224–225g body is understandable because of the enormous battery, but users who prefer lightweight smartphones may find it less comfortable.
