Xiaomi 17 will be released in September 2025. The 17’s model number was unknown upon debut. First, its dimensions are 151.1 x 71.8 x 8.1 mm, and it weighs 191 grams. Second, 17 has a 6.36-inch LTPO AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1220 x 2656 pixels. The display is covered with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus. Third and most critically, it is powered by the Qualcomm SM8850-AC Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 (3 nm) processor and runs on Android 16. Additionally, it features an Octa-core CPU (2×4.6 GHz Oryon V3 Phoenix L + 6×3.62 GHz Oryon V3 Phoenix M).
The Xiaomi 17 features a triple-camera configuration on the back. This setup consists of a 50MP wide, 50MP telephoto, and 50MP ultrawide camera. It has a 50MP selfie camera inside the display’s punch hole. The video recording capabilities include 8K@30fps (HDR), 4K@30/60fps (HDR10+, 10-bit Dolby Vision HDR, 10-bit LOG), 1080p@30/60/120/240/960fps, and 720p@1920fps with gyro-EIS. It comes in three RAM and ROM variants: 12/16GB, 256/512GB, and 1TB. Indeed, 17 features a 7000mAh battery and supports 100W fast charging. It features a dual nano-SIM card slot. That means, 17 is 2G/3G/4G/5G compatible.
