A fresh leak, supposedly from HyperOS 3 code, appears to disclose what we can expect from the next members of Poco’s X-series in terms of battery capacity and charging specifications.
The Poco X8 Pro will reportedly have a 6,500 mAh battery, while the Poco X8 Pro Max will have an 8,500 mAh battery. Both will support 100W of wired charging.

The Poco X8 Pro could be a rebranded Redmi Turbo 5, while the Poco X8 Pro Max could be based on the Redmi Turbo 5 Max, but both will have smaller batteries than the Redmis. They will not be small in the traditional sense, and the X8 Pro Max will feature the largest capacity yet seen in a Poco, but they will be more compact.
If the Pocos are based on the aforementioned Redmis, the X8 Pro will feature a 6.59-inch 1268×2756 AMOLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate, 3,840Hz PWM, and 3,500-nit peak brightness, the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 SoC, 12/16GB of RAM, 256/512GB of storage, a 50MP main camera with OIS, an 8MP ultrawide, and a 20MP selfie camera.
Meanwhile, the X8 Pro Max is said to include a 6.83-inch 1280×2772 AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, 3,840Hz PWM, and 3,500-nit peak brightness, the MediaTek Dimensity 9500s SoC, the same RAM and storage capacities as the X8 Pro, and the same cameras.
