The Samsung Galaxy C55 5G, a low-cost smartphone series made only for the Chinese market, was released by Samsung Electronics Co. on Wednesday, the first of its C series since 2017, according to industry sources.

Based on the Galaxy M55, which was introduced in India, is the Galaxy C55 5G, which was released on Monday.

It had a 5000mAh battery and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 CPU.

The gadget has a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen with a maximum refresh rate of 120Hz and 1000 nits of brightness.

Moreover, 45W rapid charging is supported.

With 256GB of internal storage, the smartphone is offered in RAM configurations of 8GB and 12GB.

Its back finish, which is available in orange or black leather, is a standout feature.

The cost of the Galaxy C55 5G is 1,999 yuan ($274).

According to industry sources, Samsung is making a major move with this launch as it re-enters the Chinese market with the C series, which it debuted with the Galaxy C8 in 2017.
