Although Samsung has not yet formally confirmed the date, there are rumors that the Samsung Galaxy S26 series will arrive on February 25. With the release of three videos showcasing camera advancements, the business has started to tease the future lineup.
With the Galaxy S26 series, Samsung is hinting at improved zoom and low-light video capabilities. A user is seen zooming in on a puppy sitting inside a car in the first teaser video, which suggests zoom levels far higher than 10x.
However, the teaser indicates that the photographs use AI-generated backgrounds.
The Galaxy S26 Ultra is expected to include a 50MP periscope telephoto with 5x optical zoom and a 10MP telephoto with 3x optical zoom. The Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26+, on the other hand, are expected to feature either an enhanced 12MP 3x telephoto camera or the Galaxy S25 series’ 10MP telephoto sensor.
In the other two teaser videos, Samsung appears to emphasize on low-light video capabilities.
Notably, the Galaxy S26 Ultra is expected to have an improved 200MP primary rear camera with an f/1.4 aperture.
The Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+, and Galaxy S26 Ultra are slated to launch on February 25th, with sales starting in March. Depending on the location, Samsung is expected to power the lineup with either the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC or its own Exynos 2600 processor.
